Narrated by Ibn Mas’ood (May Allaah be pleased with him).
He (the Prophet – may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“Verily, the dead are being punishment in their graves, until even the animals hear their screams.”

Shaikh al-Albaanee (may Allaah have upon him) said the Hadeeth is Saheeh.
